Faec is dedicated to protecting the environment in Sierra Leone. We believe that environmental conservation is essential for sustainable development and poverty reduction. Creating awareness campaigns and promoting behavioral change towards cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation practices. Constructing and maintaining public toilets and urinals in cities and public spaces, Renewable energy and drinking water facilities for rural communities. At Faec, we are committed to community development in Sierra Leone. Our programs focus on gender equality, educational support, improving maternal and child healthcare, reducing youth unemployment, and promoting. Implementing sustainable agricultural practices, climate change (Adaptation, mitigations, Loss & damage), advocacy, awareness-raising, and advocacy on the issues related to climate change at the community levels, implementation of community infrastructures and management, like school buildings, barras, healthcentres and partnerships with like-minded organizations, government body, and individuals.
